Recently, AIP successfully delivered a batch of air conditioner motor testers for a leading domestic motor manufacturer. These customized testers are now fully operational, providing strong support for improving product quality, enhancing efficiency, and enabling digital management across the customer’s air conditioner motor production lines.

Ⅰ.Comprehensive Testing Capability for Diverse Motor Types

The newly delivered testers are designed with high compatibility and scalability, capable of adapting to both inner-rotor and outer-rotor air conditioner motors on the production line.

For inner-rotor motors, AIP’s testing solution integrates load testing, Hall sensor analysis, speed measurement, rotation direction identification, and phase loss detection. Its optimized load testing algorithm can accurately capture critical parameters such as load voltage, current, and power within 10 seconds, dramatically reducing test cycle time per unit.

For outer-rotor motors, the system’s back electromotive force(EMF)testing process has been enhanced for faster performance — completing a full range of tests(including voltage, peak-to-peak value, speed, rotation, and phase sequence)in just 8 seconds, perfectly matching the production rhythm.

With its modular and independent architecture, the AIP air conditioner motor tester allows flexible configuration based on production plans, supporting a “menu-style” combination of test items to meet multi-model and flexible production needs.

The key breakthrough of this project lies in transforming the role of testing equipment — from a standalone inspection station into an intelligent component of an automated production system.

At the early design stage, AIP went beyond equipment-level optimization. The engineering team analyzed the customer’s production layout, process flow, and cycle time in depth, creating a fully integrated custom solution that seamlessly aligns with the existing assembly line in both physical space and operational logic.

Furthermore, the system is fully connected to the factory’s Manufacturing Execution System(MES). All test data — including process parameters, results, and quality judgments — are automatically uploaded in real time to the MES, achieving automated data collection, analysis, and traceability.
