With the rapid development of humanoid robots, the performance and reliability of core components such as joint modules, reducers, lead screws, and drive motors are becoming a key focus of the industry.
To address this need, AIP Instrument has independently developed five professional testing platforms that cover the complete testing process for key robot transmission and drive systems, including:
■ Rotary joint module testing
■ Linear joint module testing
■ Reverse planetary roller screw pair test
■ Harmonic reducer test
■ Frameless torque motor test

By covering the entire testing chain from the power system to the actuators, AIP provides robot manufacturers with a one-stop testing solution to help customers improve product quality, reliability, and consistency.
Leveraging its long-standing expertise in precision testing, AIP Instrument has provided testing equipment and solutions to numerous humanoid robot and intelligent manufacturing companies, covering multiple application areas such as humanoid robots, intelligent joints, electric drive systems, and core components.
These engineering practices from the front lines of industry have also provided important data support and technical experience for robot reliability evaluation, performance testing methods, and standard setting.
This conference officially launched 35 national standard projects for 2026, including humanoid robots, aiming to promote the transformation of industry needs into standard needs and mature technologies into standard achievements.
As a key participant in standards development, AIP Instrument continuously integrates its testing technology and engineering experience into standards development and has been deeply involved in the drafting of the national standard series "Humanoid Robot Electric Drive Integrated Joints" (Parts 1-3), mainly involving:
■ Rotational joint technical requirements
■ Technical requirements and test methods for linear joints
■ Humanoid robot joint interface requirements
Meanwhile, the industry standard "Technical Specification for Electric Drive Integrated Joint of Humanoid Robots", which AIP helped draft, has entered the public consultation stage, further demonstrating AIP's technical contributions in the field of robot testing and evaluation.
