AIP has recently secured a partnership with a prominent Chinese motor manufacturer to develop a comprehensive intelligent test solution for their Electric Power Steering (EPS) and Electro-Mechanical Brake (EMB) motor production lines. This customized solution integrates high-speed friction torque testing, back EMF testing, cogging friction torque testing, and motor load vibration testing.

   

I. Core Value

The solution offers exceptional equipment compatibility, adapting to various motor types and supporting rapid changeovers within 3 minutes. It seamlessly integrates into automated production lines, enabling intelligent control throughout the testing process. Key features include intelligent clamping, rapid model changeover, automated testing, and synchronized report generation. Deep integration with the client's MES system ensures real-time data sharing and efficient traceability.

II. Technical Advantages

1. High-Speed Friction Torque Test System

Utilizes high-precision servo control technology to achieve constant speed control across a wide range (100-1000 rpm). High-speed sampling technology accurately captures transient torque fluctuations, providing reliable data for evaluating dynamic motor performance.  

2. Cogging Friction Torque Test System

Specialized for measuring cogging torque and friction torque. Incorporates high-precision fixtures combined with data-adaptive processing, filtering, and decoupling techniques to precisely extract weak cogging torque signals and generate clear waveforms.

3. Back EMF Test System

Complete core measurements including back EMF phase voltage, back EMF constant determination, and characteristic curve plotting. High-speed synchronous sampling captures dynamic waveform characteristics, while an integrated FFT harmonic analysis module provides in-depth analysis of back EMF spectral properties.

4. Motor Load Vibration Test System

Employs a Three-axis vibration sensor with customized vibration fixtures and shock-absorbing mounts. Covers a broad test spectrum: 1-6000 rpm speed range, 0-199.9 m/s² vibration range, and 20Hz-20kHz frequency response. Comprehensively addresses the testing needs for permanent magnet motor T-N (Torque-Speed) performance, vibration, and torque ripple.

III. Solution Scalability

The solution features flexible and easily expandable fixture interfaces.  When clients introduce new motor products, they can be quickly integrated into the existing test system by simply connecting compatible fixtures, which significantly reduces the cost and time required for production line upgrades.

Currently, this solution is widely deployed for testing automotive EPS motors and automotive braking ONEBOX/EMB motors. It has been successfully delivered to production lines, laboratories, and quality inspection centers for multiple leading industry clients.
